How to create an API Token

Prerequisites

• An active user in Cloud instance user management.

How-To

1. Log-in to https://id.atlassian.com/login with the technical user.

2. On the head bar of the window

   1. Navigate to Security

   2. Open

      

   3. Find API Tokens

   4. Click on the “Create and Manage API Token“ link.

3. On the new screen

   1. Open

      

   2. Click on the blue button Create API Token

   3. Provide a label and click Create

4. Save the API Token somewhere safe.
